The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.
Green Light Go is dedicated to making the world a better place. We believe that the best way to do that is with a well-educated population. To that end, we make it a point to be actively involved with educational activities within the community. Besides substitute teaching and tutoring, Green Light Go participates in the various ways listed below.
The "Take a Little, Leave a Lot" Scholarship
In 2011, Dominic Canare established an annual scholarship at Wichita State University. The scholarship rotates through each of the colleges, and a faculty committee within each college selects the recipient.
Besides helping to relieve the financial burden higher education poses on a student, the scholarship also serves to raise awareness to the idea that everybody can do something to make the world a better place.
Details about the 'Take a Little, Leave a Lot' Scholarship can be found here.
